Your classroom hatchery will be delivered to your school shortly after the launch day at the Glasgow Science Centre.
By this time you will have seen the How to Look After Your Fish presentation. Here are a few reminders about how you can prepare for the delivery of the hatchery and a few tips for its care and maintenance.
Things to prepare:
- Find a cool area of your classroom or school.
- Avoid putting the hatchery above a radiator or in direct sunlight.
- Clear a space for the hatchery close to two plug sockets. If the best spot is too far from a plug point please locate a long extension cable (the one provided with the hatchery is about 1m).
- Make sure the space is not too high up, otherwise you will not be able to see inside when maintaining the hatchery.
